1. What is eligible
- New licenses (subscription or perpetual): full refund if requested within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Subscription renewals (manual or automatic): full refund if requested within 30 days of the renewal charge.
- Maintenance renewals for perpetual licenses: full refund if requested within 30 days of the renewal charge.
- Upgrades (for example, Standard to Professional): the upgrade amount is refundable within 30 days; your original license returns to its previous edition.
2. What is not eligible
- Requests made more than 30 days after the relevant charge.
- Custom development, training, installation or consulting services that have already been delivered.
- Enterprise or partner orders with separately agreed refund terms — those terms apply instead.
- Purchases where the license terms have been abused (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles).
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country.
3. How to request a refund
- Email sales@generix.solutions from the address used for the purchase, including your order number or license key. A reason is welcome but not required.
- We confirm your request within 2 business days.
- The refund is issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it can take 5–10 business days to appear.
If you bought through a reseller or an online store acting as merchant of record, the refund is processed through that seller, and we will help coordinate it.
4. What happens to the license
When a refund is issued, the related license key is deactivated and the Software stops running scheduled backups on the licensed machines. Backup files already created remain yours and can still be restored.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can usually resolve issues faster. Licenses linked to a chargeback are suspended while the dispute is open.
